Learn More About My Housewares Product Line
A year ago I was given the opportunity to design my own ceramic housewares line. I had no idea where this would lead to or even what I would design. To start, I went back to my design roots, whimsy and playful design with a function. I came up with the idea of mix and match and that it needed to be multi-purpose. After many iterations, Auberge came to be. Auberge is a French word for a lodge, which was fitting as these products are used as a temporary place to lodge your belongings.
I love alpacas and always wanted to use them as inspiration, and since they’re from South America, I also took inspiration with colors, patterns, and forms from there. White with gold touches is a bit of signature thing I used to do back at imm Living.
While I was working on the designs, I realized that this would be the perfect time to also rebrand myself and redesign my site. Since I was going back to my design roots, it was only fitting to re-brand as Nanange, which was my childhood nickname. This site is a combination of my blog, portfolio, and new shop.
Auberge is a system of stacking trinket bowls and dishes that are meant to be mixed & matched to create an effortless organized and decorative storage solution for everyday items. Shop the collection here.
